The economic outlook - towards sustainable growth

It has been more than a year since the pandemic started. COVID-19 had a huge impact on economies in most countries. The latest economic indicators are primarily linked to the global health situation. Coface anticipates that, by 2022, the impact of the shock will lead to an increase in the number of insolvencies of 16% in Spain, 13% in France, 9% in Italy, and 6% in Germany, compared to their 2019 levels. This is despite the efforts of various government support plans. Central Europe should grow by 4.0% in 2021 (after -4.3%) - with all the countries of the zone recording solid growth rates thanks to the recovery of domestic and external demand, as well as the arrival of new European funds. Prepare yourself and your company by learning more in our webinar, presented by Grzegorz Sielewicz, Coface's CEE economist.
